Trinity watched with a judging eye as she stared at Liligan's fight with that Nobody, Siax-something, and snorted. She rubbed her cheek, subconsciously feeling numb.

Stupid ice. I had to stay in the shower longer just to get warm again.

After her fight was over yesterday, the redhead returned to the Keyblade side of the audience where a laughing Azusa was waiting for her. Still holding Spirit Weaver, Trinity thumped her student on the head before stomping off.

Can't believe I lost to her…Damn it!

The Keyblader sat in her seat with her arms crossed, watching a fight that should have been hers. It was stupid of her to fall for such a cheap trick, she knew better. Trinity felt that she had embarrassed the Academy. Sighing, she closed her eye and tried to relax.

Being pissed off over this won't get me back in the tournament.

Trinity let out a small sneeze; she had caught a cold from the ice spell. She covered her nose as she rooted around for a tissue in her pant's pocket. A small piece of frilled cloth then appeared in front of her. The redhead looked up and saw Eremdalv holding out a handkerchief to her with a pale hand.

"Thanks Remmy," she muttered, quickly taking the cloth and blowing her nose.

The vampire rudely scoffed. "Do not call me that. You have no right." He then sat down next to her. "Where is your student?"

Trinity folded the handkerchief when she was done and pocketed it. "Dunno. After the whack I gave her, Azusa became scarce."

Eremdalv nodded, turning his attention to the fight below. "Your former opponent is doing quite well."

The redhead snorted again and turned away. The history teacher sighed and muttered something in French.

"Mon dieu…how long are you going to be like this? Your attitude is very unbecoming for a lady."

A vein popped on the mentor's forehead. "S-Shut up! And why are you sitting here anyway?"

"There was nowhere else to sit."

"Huh? What are ya blind? There are plenty of seats."

"I know. I just thought that you could use an acquaintance right now."

Trinity blinked at him. "You are such a weirdo."

Eremdalv did not reply to her rude comment, keeping his eyes locked on the fight. Trinity frowned at him and reluctantly watched the remainder of the round. Once the winner was announced and the fighters escorted out of the ring, Crayton read off the next pair of combatants.

"Thexlade, the Surreptitious Rose, and Trinity Teague of Keyblade-Brigade…please enter the ring," his deep voice boomed across the arena.

Trinity blinked in confusion. "Err…why is that guy callin' my name?"

"Because you are still in the tournament, Mademoiselle Teague."

"But I lost the first round…which means I'm out."

The vampire sighed again, but more deeply this time. "Did you not read the rule booklet?" Seeing her blank face, he continued. "This tournament derives on points to determine a winner. You are still a fighter here as long as you do not acquire a low amount of points."

The redhead stared dumbly at her fellow Keyblader. "Soooo, you're saying that I can still beat people up?"

"Oui."

The confused look slowly vanished while a devious smirk replaced it. "Sweet~"

Trinity hopped out of her seat and quickly ran toward the ring. Once there, she saw a woman with purple hair and wearing a black and red coat standing across from her. The woman looked Trinity up and down with judging eyes.

"Well, aren't you a cutie," Thexlade crooned, a sickening sweet smile forming on her face. "And I just love your hair…you'd fit right in at a circus."

The vein on her forehead popped up again. "What?! You calling me a freak?!" she shouted, fists angrily shaking.

"Why yes I am~"

Trinity growled loudly and brought forth Spirit Weaver, tightly clutching it in her hand. The purple-haired woman just crossed her arms, waiting for the signal to start. A few seconds passed until a loud gong sounded throughout the arena. The mentor didn't wait for the gong to cease and quickly rushed toward her opponent. Spirit Weaver was swung out, aiming for Thexlade's head. The Nobody smirked and leaned back, the keyblade passing over her face.

"Whoops! You missed."

Growling softly, Trinity swung again with Thexlade dodging each attack. The Surreptitious Rose kept smiling before placing a well-aimed kick to the mentor's gut. The redhead doubled over, taking a knee.

"Shit…" the redhead rasped out.

Thexlade snickered. "Are all Keybladers this weak? Defeating you will be a joy and a pleasure, dear."

Trinity tightened her grip on Spirit Weaver, listening to her opponent continue to berate her. A faint green glow then surrounded her body and traveled downward to her keyblade.

"Don't…mock…me!"

The mentor lunged forward, swinging her weapon forward and planting the blunt end on the older woman's chest. The glow disappeared once contact was made.

The Nobody's eyes widened as she felt her body still. "You…"

"You talk too much, bitch," Trinity sneered.

Before Thexlade could say anything, her feet started walking toward the end of the ring. She tried to resist the possession but that proved impossible. Trinity panted as she waved Spirit Weaver around.

Almost there…just a few more ste-

The mentor's body suddenly stiffened, her single eye shaking. Muttered several curses under her breath, she whacked Spirit Weaver on the stone floor. A sharp sounding pitch echoed in the air. The same green glow which possessed Thexlade surrounded her body briefly before shooting back to Trinity. The purple-haired woman flexed her arms, looking down to see that she was a few feet away from the edge.

"Whoo, close one." Thexlade glanced over at the Keyblader. "Good thing that power of yours wore off."

Black shadows engulfed the Nobody's hands and then dispersed to reveal her weapon, a large perfume bottle with the Org-Nu symbol etched on the side. Pressing down on the nozzle, a green-colored smoke emerged and quickly floated toward Trinity.

"Don't Move~!" the Rose crooned.

The redhead couldn't dodge the smoke in time; she was still recovering from using her spiritual power, and coughed slightly when she inhaled. Her body's muscles twitched before they stilled.

…I can't move?

Thexlade was already on the move before the younger girl inhaled the curare, bottle poised for an attack.

"This is for calling me a 'bitch'!"

There was a loud 'thump!' and a painful cry as Trinity's body rolled away. When the rolling stopped, her vision swirled after from being hit in the jaw. The Keyblader groaned and spat some blood, and a chip of a tooth, out of her mouth. The stiffness of her body was slowly receding, but not quickly enough for her to dodge another attack. The large bottle smashed down on her back, knocking the wind out of her. The redhead groaned heavily.

Shit! I gotta fight back!

Trinity raised her Keyblade up once her muscles loosened up more and blocked the bottle when Thexlade swung it down again. A single brown eye glazed over in anger, lips curled in a snarl.

"Oohh~ What a horrible face," the ex-witch quipped before smirking. "It totally goes with that horrid attire you call an outfit."

The mentor then swung a leg up and kicked the bottle away. Thexlade yelped when it flew out of her hands. Using that brief distraction, Trinity scampered back to her feet, brandishing Spirit Weaver. She closed in on the Nobody, aiming for her head. Spirit Weaver was inches away from its target but a swirl of inky shadows ended up being slashed instead of Thexlade.

Trinity gaped upon seeing her opponent vanish. What the hell?

"Looking for something, Cyclops?" a sweet voice droned from the redhead's blind side.

Quickly turning around, Trinity was met with a cloud of purple smoke and inhaled it. "S-Shit!" she coughed out.

"Confused, dear?" the purple-haired woman cackled, gingerly holding her weapon again.

Trinity groaned and clutched her head, stumbling along. She felt sick to her stomach and dizzy.

G-Gotta…stay…argh…foc-

"Swing, Swing, Swing!" the ex-witch's voice shouted, cutting off Trinity's train of thought.

Another hit from the bottle made the mentor fly back, landing on the floor with a 'thud'. High above in the audience, Eremdalv sighed heavily as he watched his fellow ally get creamed again.

"Trinity…I know that you are stronger than this," he muttered under his breath in French. "Do not let your past battle cloud your judgment."

The confused daze lifted from her mind as Trinity slowly stood on shaky legs. She panted heavily, feeling the both old and new injuries affect her.

"Give up, Cyclops~?" Thexlade teased, setting her bottle on the floor. "Face it. You're loosing your touch."

Her whole body shook. She was exhausted and wanted to rest, but that would prove impossible. The moment she let her guard down, it would be over.

Why can't I fight? Why? WHY?!

"Oh Mister Crayton~ It looks like Little Miss Keyblader is done fighting. Declare the battle," Thexlade demanded.

The wizard crossed his arms, frowning at such a forced order. "Miss Teague has not voiced her surrender yet. I will give her three minutes and then I will make my decision."

"Hmm, fine with me."

During their brief talk, Trinity just stared at the floor, her thoughts firing through every nerve within her brain. She tried to formulate a plan, any plan to beat the ex-witch.

I have to…I have…to…stop her…but how? How do I…do that?

"One minute left," Crayton announced, checking his pocket watch.

I guess…that's it then. If this battle is gonna end now, it's gonna be with a bang.

The redhead closed her eye and sighed. She focused on her breathing, calming down her body's shaking. Spirit Weaver glowed faintly, tendrils of green wrapping around her arms. The space over her heart shone brightly as the tendrils disappeared inside her chest. The glowing intensified immensely, unlike the other times she used her keyblade's ability.

Thexlade saw the glowing and raised her perfume bottle. Just what is she doing?

"Ten seconds!" the wizard shouted.

After those words were spoken, Trinity's single eye snapped opened as a neon green encircled around the iris. Spirit Weaver wailed loudly when the redhead dashes toward the Nobody.

"Nine!"

The purple-haired woman sprayed another green cloud from the nozzle, in hopes of paralyzing her again. Before the clouded scent hit, Trinity waved it away and watched it disperse into the air. Thexlade cursed loudly when the Keyblader moved in, poised to strike.

"Six!"

Spirit Weaver sailed through the air and hooked one of its prongs around Thexlade's neck. The green glow quickly engulfed the older woman, pouring a large piece of Trinity's spirit into her body.

"Four!"

Trinity took a knee after her attack and raised her keyblade up high. Her still-glowing eye glared up at Thexlade.

"You lose."

The ex-witch didn't have time to say anything as her own feet quickly carried her to the edge of the ring.

"Three…two…"

Trinity watched as Thexlade stumble slightly before running out of the ring, landing on the ground with an undignified 'oof!'.

"ONE! This match is over!" Crayton boomed out. "Winner…Trinity Teague!"

Loud cheers erupted from the Keyblade-Brigade section of the audience. Trinity barely heard them as she collapsed from overexertion. Sensing its mistress faint, Spirit Weaver ceased glowing. Thexlade was sprawled on the ground, staring up at the sky.

"Guess I underestimated her…"

Eremdalv smirked to himself at Trinity's win. "Bon travail, Mademoiselle Teague."
